Gene Simmons banned for life from Fox News over his behaviour

quote [ Simmons was appearing on a pair of shows on the conservative news network – Fox and Friends, and Mornings With Maria – to promote his new book, On Power. According to a Fox News source speaking to the Daily Beast, Simmons barged in on a staff meeting, unbuttoned his shirt and exposed his torso, shouting: “Hey chicks, sue me!”

He also told jokes about Michael Jackson and paedophilia, and made mocking remarks about the intelligence of staffers. His behaviour has now seen him banned from the building and from further Fox News shows. He has not commented on the claims. ]

So he got banned for acting like a drunken uncle at a barbecue. Isn't that the faux-news viewer base?

Surely, he's already banned everywhere else.

hey he's in the news. And his target (FOX/The Man) is socially acceptable to his fan base. What a promotion machine, this guy....

A man of his era; when men could be men. Listen to his NPR interview where he made Terry Gross giggle like a school girl for another example of prime masculinity. Owners of penii today are too well trained for such stunts.

Even in his era men could be men without being boorish loudmouthed douchebags. If you want to talk about rock stars who exemplified traditional manly virtues with class, I'll take a Rob Halford or a Bruce Dickinson over this clown any day.

I was listening to that first broadcast. She did her best to make it into an informative interview, but his asshole aura overwhelmed the best efforts of a tried and true professional. "Christ, what an asshole!"

How to promote the KISS brand without the effort and expense of performing KISS concerts.

The last thing FOX wants is to have their viewer base in any sort of proximity. The help should know their place.
