These places were magical for a 5 year old. Looking at this picture makes my mouth water for an open face turkey sandwich.

God, yes! With gravy and fries. One of the few truly happy memories of my dad is going to HoJos for fried clams and open face turkey sandwiches.

I recognized that one in the photo at the top. It's in Afton VA, aka Walton's Mountain.
