There are 3 types of single-payer 'concern trolls' — and they all want to undermine universal healthcare

quote [ With momentum building for single-payer healthcare among Democratic voters and a growing number of 2020 hopefuls, Sen. Bernie Sanders unveiled a “Medicare for All” bill last week. Immediately, a number of pundits denounced the legislation as an “unrealistic” “bloated” “disaster” full of “magic math.” ]

And almost all of them are Democrats. This is what progressives are up against. Well healed politicians who don't want to rock the boat. Please oh please let this bill make it to mark up by the CBO.

"Well, I don’t know what the particulars are," Clinton said. "As you might remember, during the campaign he introduced a single-payer bill every year he was in Congress — and when somebody finally read it, he couldn’t explain it and couldn’t really tell people how much it was going to cost."

As Obamacare repeal implodes (again), Democrats prepping for single-payer self-destruction

Single-payer health care is surging with a majority of American voters — and Democrats are loving it the most, a new poll showed Wednesday.

A POLITICO/Morning Consult survey said 49% of general voters support a proposal for a single-payer system, while 35% oppose it and 17% hold no opinion.

But with Democrats, two-thirds support a single-payer system, which was championed during the 2016 campaign by Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Only 18% of Democrats oppose it.

That’s a spike from 54% Democrat approval in the same poll in April.

I shouldn't quote Bill Clinton here but..."Just keep stumbling in the right direction"

Heeled. Well-heeled.

But it's a good article.

And "well-healed" might well describe some of the opposition...

Strange bedfellows time: the alt-right* supports universal healthcare. There's a catch, though, and you can probably guess it. Their argument is that single payer will only work in an ethnically homogeneous environment, and they point to Sweden's transition to a Third World hellscape in the last few years as proof. They also support unions, since they offer protection to workers who hold unpopular opinions.

What's really impressive though, is the way that my (literally a) nigga Morrakiu squares the circle by making rock solid conservative arguments for over half a dozen liberal positions in three minutes and 40 seconds. Even more, he makes Nickelback worth listening to!

Morrakiu - Agreeing With The Liberals For All The Wrong Reasons

I wanted legal marijuana so you'd be too high to vote
I thought if you had an abortion liberal voters wouldn't grow
I want environmental tariffs so that China's growth will slow
I wanted blacks to be disarmed with inner city gun control

Of course, my favorite line is, "I wanted taxes on the rich/'Cuz most of them are yids". It's a funny reminder that while Bill Gates is trying to eradicate malaria, (((George Soros))) is trying to eradicate every Gentile human with an IQ above room temperature.

*I can understand if people think that I identify as alt-right, although I'm neither white enough nor racist enough to join. The problem is, I'm too white and not racist enough for the current incarnation of the Democratic party, either. This is how a reality TV host becomes President, folks.
