‘Sea Hero Quest’ hides dementia research inside a VR game

quote [ 'Sea Hero Quest VR' is a game that tests your spatial navigation skills, all the while collecting data for dementia research. ]

Anybody that's actually read my rantings on VR (all three of you) knows that one of the reasons I'm so crazy about it, is its potential to unlock some of the mystery around cognition and what's going on behind the scenes of our behavior. The more of ourselves we can put inside the simulation, the more data we can collect about how we work. This is of course a double edge sword, because the more data we can collect for our health and curiosity, the easier we become to not only manipulate in our daily lives, but also to replace in the workplace. Exciting times!

I've already downloaded it to my phone to try it in GearVR later. :D

You got new followers? I didn't know you were all the way up to three! Ha! Hahaha!

Seriously though please make 3-D Virtual SE.

It's something I think about a lot. I just don't know the format it should take. And the total lack of interest from others. ;)
Check my fb for the new paint app pano, if you're interested. It almost worked right this time. :D

It would be wild if you could end up making a minecraftian VR SE. Get members to build their rooms etc. I'm sure it's a horrible idea to have to implement though.

I mean, there is VR minecraft. I don't know if it's multiplayer. I'm trying to think of what's next for interactions, ya know? Voice? That requires people online at the same time. Plus, reading is so much faster. It feels like going backwards. But typing in VR is inconvenient... etc. ;)
