'I know they are going to die.' This foster father takes in only terminally ill children

This story is a few months old, but heartwarming nonetheless. A few days after LA Times ran it donations poured in from across the country to help the man out.

I remember reading this story when it came out - truly inspiring. Makes me realize that I will never be the man I wanted to be...

Never too late to try. If most of us are going to spend our lives being a disaster or two away from being homeless and penniless, then we might as well do it in such a way that when we look back on things from our deathbed we can leave this world satisfied with the impact we made.

I see some dark shit in my work from time to time. I will never have the emotional strength of that man.
