I know of one model who does this, and yes it's constant work. She has enough material to go for years, and says she's stopping making new stuff soon, but she makes about $60k from it. It sounds to me like she's fed up with it, though...

Yup, its a thing now. Monetizing nudity with varying levels of control and price point. First i heard about it was when Mal Malloy started selling access to pics.
