"The United States produces more grapefruit than any other country, from Florida and now California as well..." Wrong...
If you know squat about grapefruit, you know that the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and Mexico produces what's regarded as the best grapefruit in the world. And if you've tasted them, you know they blow Florida and California grapefruit away.
2020 production in Texas (which excludes the sizeable production just across the river in Tamaulipas is higher than Florida, and a lot higher than California.
