Correct me if I'm wrong, but the key contributions of this study are
1. the finding that "countries where fermented cabbage forms a key part of their diet have had lower fatalities", and
2. the speculation that "consuming high levels of fermented cabbage brings down the number of ACE2, making it more difficult for the virus to enter the body"
I might add Hangi, a traditional Maori meal of meat and vegetables slow-cooked in an underground oven, and
Xiao Long Bao, the Taiwanese soup dumpling, to the list of miracle foods. Co-authorship to anyone who can come up with a convincing scientific rationale.
