Ok...As hard as it is to believe ....I was wrong. At least I was partially wrong.

quote [ Democrats aim for potential cracks in GOP support for Kavanaugh ]

Well it may be theater, but low rent kabuki it ain't. And it has just an outside chance of working. This is something I am not used to seeing...Democrats growing a spine.

Sen. Cory Booker releases 'confidential' Kavanaugh emails in combative Supreme Court confirmation hearing

Kamala Harris grills Kavanaugh on Mueller investigation

Now don't get me wrong I see no evidence this is working. But the Dems have put some pressure on Purple state (including Manchin) and choice Senators...we will see if there is follow up on them. Tomorrow witness will be called...Nixon's White House counsel to testify against Kavanaugh Friday

This is not over yet and I am amazed.

And they also made the case for recusal By Kavanaugh and showed that he wasn't part of list by the Federalist Society that Trump said he would pick from but that he was only added after the special council was announced.

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) is releasing another round of "confidential" paperwork from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's work as a White House lawyer, despite the threat of a potential ethics investigation.

Booker's latest set of emails stamped "committee confidential" — meaning they haven't been cleared for pubic release — total 82 pages, some with redactions. The documents were released Friday evening.

The New Jersey Democrat defended the move, arguing that the GOP process for confirming Kavanaugh "makes a mockery of Senate precedent" and the chamber's "duty of advice and consent."
