Trump may be an ignorant jackass, but he knows what he's doing. It's no accident that his choice for Supreme Court is the one who said that Presidents should be immune from criminal investigations. Meanwhile such fine 'liberal' institutions as the NY Times and the Washington Post continue to debate the proper arrangement of deck chairs on the Titanic.

I would agree that the problems with ISIS stemmed originally from the Bush eras but the failure to maintain a Status of Forces agreement under Obama fertilized their creation with absolute certainty. It was only with renewed support from US forces were they pushed out of Iraq and with support of Russia they were pushed out of Syria.
I don't think we had to go to war over Crimea and Georgia... they just wouldn't have happened under a different State Department. Hillary's 'Reset button' and "soft power" speech were clearly failures. Here's a question; do you think Putin would more likely or less likely to annex a country under Trump?
On both confidence and scandal; I am supremely confident that I can fully assess the scandals against Trump. Any and all negative notes about him will be full court pressed in the media cycle for as much clicks and ads as they can garner. You could not say the same about Obama. Obama had a squeaky clean Presidency, I admit, but no one was drumming up witch hunts investigations or dredging up washed up porn stars to ride his fame to personal wealth. We simply would never have been privy to them.
