I am still seeing the aprx. + 10 Dem advantage that has been evident in all of the special elections...the Aug. 7th race will be another test of that. Bottom line is that the House looks very doable, the Senate...a lot harder.
Before anybody gets too excited that the Dems are a shoe in I think it is time to remind everyone how we got here.

A keen and apt observation.
I'm also seeing a very poor strategy for 2018 Dems. It seems they keep funneling all their money into the most extreme Progressives (so much for money out of politics... ends justify the means much?). Locally, in the 6th district of GA, where they just set a record for the highest amount spent in any House race ever the D's lost with a spending advantage of $24mil to $4mil. They are trying it again with an out-in-out anti-gun candidate. All this because it was one of the few non-urban districts in GA to vote for Hillary so they think they have a shot. If they ran a more center-Left Dem they might have a shot but the party bosses in Washington continue to have delusions.

Dems are refusing to heed the lesson of Connor Lamb's victory in Penn as a pro-gun, anti-Pelosi candidate. If they ran a more center-Left Dem they might have a shot but the party bosses in Washington continue to have delusions.
