Rachel Maddow points out that it's not just North Korea that was eager for this outcome.
According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Trump expressed his intention to halt U.S.-South Korea joint military exercises, offer security guarantees to the North and lift sanctions against it as relations improve. North Korea frames summit as a win as Trump halts war games It will be some time until we learn about all of what will happen...but so far it doesn't look like this is in the benefit of the US and or its allies. This in fact makes the lives of NK people worse...not in their day to day life becasue it would be hard to make life worse for someone in a gulag, prison, or farm. But what it did do was to let the ones who dare to have a radio that gets more than on station...that all hope is gone. The President of the united States just call the great leader an hon arable man.
South Korea and Japan for that matter peoples lives just became more dangerous. This story will unfold and crumble as time goes on. After all it all based on the word of two of the biggest liars in the world...no witness to any of it.

What did he mean when he said we would "End the War Games"? Not sure anybody knows that one including the US military.
